Apparently
it is quite possible to get your shit together and make it
to a rally without f*cking
something up! Apparently....
Well not me. Original plans (they're real good
when you dream them up) was to head to the site for mid afternoon,
take
time to set up the tents, relax and get into party mood,
speak to old friends make some new friends, photograph some of
the bikes and generally chill on the Friday night, coz I was
gonna be Marshalling on the Saturday.
Now, back in the real world, didn't get away from
work until 16:00, and had tae find stuff for dying ma beard.
You would think that this at least would be easy.... was it feck!
Ended up having to buy stuff from Argos of all feckin' places,
got home and discovered I couldn't leave until 18:00... so mad
rush to get everything together before heading to the site, sign
in, ptich tent, have a quick beer, spot Al (Talisman MCC and
Bikers1)
quick chat head to the hall, meet up with some Fat Bastard Pie
Eaters and for some reason oblivion! Weird!!
However,
the digital camera never lies (unfortunately), and if you want
a cohesive rally report check out Bikers1 in the banner at
the bottom of this page. If you want to hear the continued
rantings of the webmaster (See the piccie above), carry on.
And I promise to put up all the pictures throughout this ramble
of words.
The band
on the Friday evening was local stalwarts Easily Led... love
to tell you more but I was kinda flying by
the time they got on the stage. It is just about possible that
one of the other F-Cubed crew can tell more, if so SEND
IN YOUR REPORTS YOU LAZY SODS!
Rest
of fridays photos will appear here!
Saturday
dawns as it always does at a Rally, with the realisation that
you don't know what to do first..... chuck, or eat.... worse
this time as I had been talking to "Jack" again.... Anyway,
some of the crew walked (yup they actually walked into Inverurie
to catch up with Big Bri... me I headed back to me tent to
try and shake off my hangover prior to the demo run....(I failed).
The post
Demo run tradition of parking up the bike and heading straight
to the bar was for once this year sadly missed.... I was still
badly hungover and needed food! By the time I made it to the
Hall it was 9pm, and the magic of Mr T's magic elixer soon
had me back on me feet.... the following photos are basically
me snapping anything I could see, whilst yapping to crew mates,
and fending of Seth's attraction to my rally hat (not in any
pccies that I know of). Here's the piccies, and big thanks
to all from Aberbronx MAG (and especially those helping out
that are not MAG) for a great Rally.
