It's
RALLY TIME!!!! Let's see... Friday, turned up got ratted! Er.. nope
that's not right! I wasn;t there on the Friday. For Friday's report,
see Brian's story... eh... what... you mean he hasn't written it
yet! Wow!
Right,
I'll start again! (Bob's excuse)
Saturday,
turned up got drunkl fell asleep went home! Err, not quite. As per
normal, the
weather
was crap on the way up to Sandhaven on the Saturday night, and once
again, everyone else in the club had been "on it"
for most of the day, so I had some serious catching up to do. So
got there about x o'clock, found the F3 encampment, gingerly rode
the bike across the grass, fumbled about for a side stand puck and
settled the bike down for the weekend (or whats left of it). Next
task, get off the bike with all my crap loaded on the back. Quick
check to make sure no one is standing outside the pub, get into position,
swing leg back over bike, catch ma tent and end up like a f*ckin'
turtle - on me back, arms and legs in the air, and
balanced on a particulrly uncomfortable ruck sack! Struggle to ma
feet, glance over to the PUB and yes, there it is... half the rally
goers oot fer a fag, and me lying like a sack o' Tatties on the wet
grass!
Ah
well, I guess shit does happen! But what is this crossing the grass!
Hey up, it's Big Bri, with a large Sir Jack in his hands and its
all for me! Drink, put up tent (whilst drinking more), finish putting
up tent, drink, change, drink, go to the pub, drink, accept the loverly
comments about my neon blue beard (I thought it looked good!). Drink,
hall, drink, dance, drink... etc.
Saturday's
band were the Cleavlend Steamers and a fine job they did too! Once
again F3 pillaged the Raffle coming away
with 2 Crash Helmets and two pairs of Socks (don't ask)! We did not
however win
top prize
- A Custom Build Chopper... mainly coz I had bought the wrong colour
of ticket, and partly coz we didn't deserve to... that naughty Buddha
made me drunk!
A
great night and big thanks the the Few for another great party. See
ya next year!
More
pictures and words to come (maybe!)
