Saints and Sinners 2007

After a whole season of wet and cold rallys, I was really not lookin' forward to this in the way that I should. After all, the way the rest of the year had been, I was certain it was gonna be another cold and wet rally!

Well surprise, surprise! Left the Bronx, and it started raining, the it started a horrible gusty wind (and this time it was not from my bottom). But, as I approached the site, the rain went home, and the wind eased (well a bit).

Now I had instructions on how to find the crew: come into the field turn left, and we are in the middle besides the second Saltire! Rolls onto the field and see a veritable sea of Saltires, but as luck would have it I managed to spot Puggy, standing yappin' his arse off. Now Snake and the rest of the crew had had the ultimate kindness... they took ma tent down to the rally on the Friday night, and by the time I got there on Satruday, low and behold, there was me tent! All I had to do, was set up ma kip, and pour meself a rather large Jack and chill out.

No sooner had me arse hit the chair and Puggy announces that he needs to do a coffee run and would any one like one. Aye comes the chorus, so off he troggs. Thinking that Puggy'll be 10 - 15 mins, I set off to sign in, back about 20 mins later and no Puggy, have another silly large Jack and about 20 mins after that he turns up to announce, was anyone wanting coffee?! Off he trots and 10 mins later we have coffee's and cakes, a rather rude Parrot, some outdoor candles (yer arse, waste o' money that time), and policewomans hat!

So it was going to be one of those nights... Anyway as time wears on and you start to think about the hall so we decides we'd head off. Puggy says "onybody seen ma keys", 15 mins later and I get accosted by Wee John in mid search... "If you don't come and speak to this person you are going to be in Trouble!", it clicks so off I trip to see ma Mate Trouble, who was apprently ma wife at the P in The Park, not that I can remember that much!

So into the hall and all the usual silly stuff starts, managed to catch up with and meet Big Bad Bob, Cainem, Trouble, Womble, Kim, Trish, Rod, Sharon, etc...

More Jack, and it was somebodies 40th, now as I couldnae see the stripper very well, I managed to pass the camera to Snake, so the piccies are below!

Of course by this time, Carol, Ron, Jane and the kids have started with the Glitter Spray, and the Bhindi's (a spot on yer foreheid). Much hilarity and than a strange thing happened, the first half of the bottle o' Sir Jack had obviously relaxed me, but the second half made ma feet into "Dangerous Dancin' Boab"... Sorry to one and all I bumped into or stepped on.

Seeing Wee John in a minister outfit was a giggle, but not so much fun as the S&S girls in their devil suits!!!

Loads of fun, yappin' and drinkin and I was all puggled oot! So off tae ma tent, accompanied for some strange reason by all the F3... unzip tent and BALLOON CITY!!! filled tae the bloody brim! So after 10 mins oh fightin' balloons it was suddenly morning!

Thanks to all the S&S for a great party, see you all in a field again soon!
